Pine Lake Camps hires ages 16 & up. If you are under 16 but still interested in helping out around camp this summer, fill out this Volunteer Application
Staff positions fall into three different categories: counseling, program and support. Each position has its own responsibilities, but all camp staff work together to introduce kids to the love of Jesus and to encourage them to grow in their personal relationship with Him. All staff can expect to assist in other areas when needed.

Summer Staff Positions For Hire:
*Please note that Summer Staff Training takes place June 5-16, 2023, and is required for ALL Summer Staff positions.
Head Counselor:
We are looking for one male and one female to serve as Head Counselors in 2023. To be considered for the position of Head Counselor, you must have past experience with being a Counselor at Pine Lake Camps or another summer camp. Head Counselors will be responsible for communicating directly with the Counselors, and will be intentional with supporting their emotional, physical and spiritual needs. Head Counselors will work to assist Counselors in their responsibilities, act as a temporary fill-in for struggling Counselors if necessary, and will also deal with various camper issues as needed.
Counselors/Jr. Counselors:
A Cabin Counselor is responsible for the day and night supervision and leadership of a cabin of 8-11 campers. This is the most physically and emotionally demanding job at camp, but also one of the most rewarding! Counselors sleep in the camper cabins, assist in leading devotional time and participate in all the camper activities, all day long! A Counselor must be 18 or older, or else they will be considered for a Junior Counselor position.
Program Team:
Our Program Team works with our Program Director to design and direct all camp-wide activities. Program Team will participate in Bible hour skits for the younger campers and run on-stage games and activities for campers of all ages. Applicants should be creative, high-energy and comfortable in front of large groups. Bonus points if you have musical or theatrical experience!
Office Team:
Our Office Team is usually the first face people see at Pine Lake Camps! This is both an office job and a customer service job that involves answering phone calls, manning registration on Sundays and check-out on Fridays, processing camper money and mail, tending to the needs and inquiries of parents and campers throughout the week, and lots of other fun projects!
Lifeguard Team:
Our Lifeguards will manage all equipment, activities and personnel at our two waterfront areas (pool for swimming, lake for boating). Pine Lake Camps is not authorized to train & certify lifeguards. Lifeguards must be certified prior to being hired.
Kitchen Team:
Our Kitchen Team will fill various roles in the kitchen and dining hall. From cooking and preparing meals for campers and staff to washing the dishes and mopping after mealtimes, the dining hall is their place of reign and rule!
Housekeeping Team:
Our Housekeeping Team is responsible for cleaning and maintaining various areas of camp including bathrooms, buildings, guest and grounds areas.
Maintenance Team:
Summer camp is unpredictable, and sometimes requires a quick-footed hero wielding a plunger, a golf cart and some trash bags, or a wheelbarrow! Our Maintenance Team is responsible for keeping the camp property mowed, clean, and in good repair.
Activities Team:
Our Activities Team runs and maintains camp free time activities. Camp activities include the ropes course/zipline, fishing, boating, court games, riflery, archery, disc golf and more!
Tech Team:
From manning the production booth during chapel and worship services to checking the mics for camp-wide activities, our Tech Team will be in charge of all the audio/video production and other technological aspects of camp!
