MEN'S BASS FISHING WEEKEND
This weekend is for serious fishermen with their own boats (or BYO Friend with a boat).
We will send an email ahead of time with a list of what to pack & what gear to bring.

Eric Dykstra has been passionate about fishing since he was seven, when his grandfather gave him his first cane pole and took him down to the farm pond in Iowa. Over the years he has become proficient at fishing for largemouth & smallmouth bass. Besides his love for Jesus, his wife & kids, it is his favorite thing in life. And he always says, “Remember, the disciples were fishermen. It’s the ONLY Biblical sport!”
Cost: $175 for a standard cabin (may include short walk to bathhouse)
Upgrade to Parr Lodge room, add $100 per person (Very limited number of rooms available.)
Itinerary
Thursday
- 1:00pm Arrive at PLC and fish Upper & Lower Pine Lakes.
- 7:30pm Supper
Friday & Saturday
- 7:30am Breakfast & Devotional
- 8:30am Fish all day
Pastor Eric will send boats to 5 area lakes (within 1 hour drive: Beeds, Briggs Woods, Brushy Creek, Bluebill, Pleasant Creek, Rock Creek, Upper & Lower Pine), along with coaching on how to fish them. Lunch will be on your own. - 7:30pm Supper
- 8:30pm Bonfire, fish stories & prizes for biggest catch & most caught
Sunday
- 8:00am Breakfast & Devotional
- 10:00am Worship Service at Free Grace United in PLC chapel
- 11:30 Head home or back out on the water
