Women’s Retreat (September 14-16, 2018)
Women’s Retreat is a time for ladies to be refreshed and rejuvenated in the presence of familiar friends and new ones, as well. Enjoy all of this in our beautfiul camp setting as you walk around the lake at sunrise, or even take on an adventerous spirit and try out our zipline! At the very least, you can expect to enjoy fantastic food and fellowship.
Online registration will close at the end of the day on September 11. You may call the camp office at 641.858.3284 if you have any questions.
Host: Pine Lake Camps
Speaker: Lori Boruff, author, speaker, and life-plan coach. Co-director of Christian Communicator.
Theme: The Adventure Begins from Song of Songs 2:13B.
Barb Conner breakout session:
How many of us have shelves filled with Bible Studies we've completed or books we've read. I do. About 10 years ago I was challenged by a friend to try a study with her. No book with questions...no discussion questions at the end of a chapter, no videos...just the WORD, the HOLY SPIRIT and me (and probably a cup of coffee). She introduced me to a study method that was written by Dolores Hayford after reading Brother Lawrence's book, "Practicing the Presence of God". I would love to share this with you. Based on James 4:8, she encourages a time of quiet given to Him, a time to meditate on His Word, and a time to listen to what he has to say.
