“I wish every weekend could be spent at Pine Lake Camps.”

My name is Erik, and I am a freshman at Knoxville High School. This year was my first year to be really involved in my church youth group. When my youth pastor told us about your event called Breakaway, I got really excited and went with my youth group on the weekend of fun. Breakaway was just what I needed that weekend. It helped me realize the world doesn’t revolve around drama. Since Breakaway, I have tried to get my life back on the right track, the one based on God. I also went to Winter Retreat and again it took me out of my dramatic life and calmed me down. I wish every weekend could be spent at Pine Lake Christian Camp. I am really looking forward to going to summer camp and spending a whole week away from my phone, computer, and all the drama. Thank you for setting up such a camp to help people get out of their hectic lives and calm down, even if it is just for a weekend. I know summer camp will be just as fun as Winter Retreat and Breakaway as long as I am at Pine Lake. Sincerely, Erik -- Camper
